The Estádio da Mata Real is the home stadium of the Portuguese football club FC Paços de Ferreira. On October 7, 1973, was opened and today has 5,192 spectator seats. The opening match was held between Paços de Ferreira and the SC Vianense ( 0:0). The audience seats are distributed among the main grandstand, an opposite stand and a rank behind the right door; seen from the main stands. After the rise in 2000 to the first division we renewed the seats at all ranks. To re- ascent (2004) in the first division was renovated in the stadium. At the sports complex also includes three training courses; including an artificial pitch.
