Estadio Juan N. López

The Estadio Juan Nepomuceno López, often referred to simply as Estadio Juan López N, is a football stadium in La Piedad, Michoacan, Mexico. It was opened in 1994 and offers 15,000 spectators. It serves the CF La Piedad as a home ground.

Name

The stadium name is the former owner of the site, Don Juan Nepomuceno López, honored, who had in 1951, the downtown plot provided on the Campo Cavadas has been built, which was founded in the same year CF La Piedad more than 40 years as a home ground served.

History

The Estadio Juan López N was inaugurated on 28 August 1994 in a friendly game of CF La Piedad against CF Monterrey ( 0:3). The first official match was played on 11 September in 1994 in an encounter of the second division against the CD Coras de Tepic.
