The Estadio Municipal de Chapin Olympic is in the southern Spanish city of Jerez de la Frontera, Autonomous Community of Andalusia, located multi-purpose stadium. It serves the football club Deportivo Xerez as homestead.
History
The Estadio Municipal de Chapin Olympic in 1988, built with 20,500 seats at that time as a multi -purpose stadium. It was opened on 24 August 1988 at a friendly match between the home club Deportivo Xerez and Real Madrid. The competition venue has an athletics track, and can be used for various sporting events and concerts. In 2002, the stadium, renovated and expanded in the course of hosting the World Equestrian Games 2002.. Since then, it holds 22,000 spectators.
