The Estadio La Nueva Balastera is a football stadium in the Spanish town of Palencia in the autonomous community of Castile -Leon. It replaced the 1943 built Estadio La Balastera. It serves the football club CF Palencia as a home ground and can accommodate 12,000 spectators, all of which are protected by a roof against wind and weather. The stadium was designed by Francisco Mangado. The most striking feature of the stadium opened in 2006, the four light towers of floodlights. The design of the stadium won the 2007 Grand Prix at the Enor Architecture Awards.
