The Estadio Parque Artigas is a football stadium in the Uruguayan town of Las Piedras.

History

The Estadio Parque Artigas was built in 2002. While other sources indicate the capacity of 12,000 spectators, La República reported in April 2000 on the occasion of the planned construction of a spectator capacity amounting to 13,000 people. The construction costs for the shell were at that time estimated at U.S. $ 500,000. As part of the reopening of temporarily unused sports venue in October 2009, a seating capacity of 3,000 was rumored. The stadium serves as the club Juventud home ground, but is also used by various institutions of the micro - region of La Paz, Las Piedras and Progreso.

On September 2, 2012, a match of the Primera División was held in the Parque Artigas with the match against Central Español Juventud first time. Previous Erstligaheimspiele Juventuds were held to date at the Estadio Martínez Monegal in neighboring Canelones.
