Estrella Morente

Estrella Morente, full name Estrella Morente de la Aurora Carbonell ( born August 14, 1980 in Las Gabias, Granada Province, Spain ) is a flamenco singer and the daughter of singer Enrique Morente Flamenco dancer Aurora Carbonell and.

At seven, she began with her father to sing. Their first album Mi Cante Y Un Poema she took on in 2001. In the same year, Calle del Aire was published and well received by the critics. With her father as the producer she played a their third album Mujeres 2006. This year, she sang in the movie Volver - Return flamenco for Penélope Cruz. She married on 14 December 2001 the bullfighter Javier Conde in the Basilica of Nuestra Señora de las Anguish in Granada. The couple now has two children, a son named Curro (2002) and a daughter ( 2005), which got the name Estrella as the mother.
