η2 hydrides ( eta2 hydrides, short η2 Hyi ), cataloged as HD 11977, is about 220 light years distant star in the constellation of Hydrus ( Small water snake). He has a companion with the systematic name η2 hydrides b, in which there could be an exoplanet. It orbits the central star with an orbital period of 711 days with a semimajor axis of about 2 astronomical units and has a mass of at least about 6.5 Jupiter masses.
