Étienne Blanc

Étienne Blanc ( born August 29, 1954 in givors ) is a French politician. He is the National Assembly since 2002 deputy.

Blanc worked as a lawyer, when he got in 1980 with the arrival in the city council of Bourg -en- Bresse in the policy. He retired from the City Council to be elected to 1991 Mayor of Divonne- les- Bains. He belonged to the Démocratie Libérale, which was integrated into the UMP 2002. In 2004 he was elected Chairman of the UMP in the department of Ain. From 1992 he was a member of the Regional Council of Rhône- Alpes, its Vice President from 1998 to 1999. He was elected in the third constituency of the Ain department in the National Assembly in 2002, after which he retired from the Regional Council. As a parliamentarian he was re- elected in 2007 and 2012.
