Euctemon (crater)

Euctemon is an impact crater on the northeastern edge of the moon 's front panel. Southwest is the large crater level of Meton, in the south east it touches the edge of Baillaud, northeast is De Sitter. Because of its location near the edge Euctemon is of the earth from poorly visible.

The crater was named in 1935 by the IAU by the Greek astronomer Euctemon.
