Eugen Kling

Eugene Kling ( born February 14, 1899 in Munich, † December 21, 1971 ) was a German football player.

The left-back began his career at SpVgg Sendling. The next stops were the FC Rosenheim, FC Wacker München and SpVgg Hof before moving to TSV 1860 Munich. With this club he was in 1927 even advanced to the semi-finals of the German Championship, but it lost to the eventual champions, 1st FC Nuremberg. For Kling but this success also meant an appearance in the jersey of the German national team. In the same year he was allowed to play during a match against Denmark. The German team lost in Copenhagen but with 1:3 and thus his national team career was just one game over already.

The commercial employee let his career fade away later at Wacker Burghausen.
