Eugene C. Butcher

Eugene Corning Butcher ( born January 6, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA) is an American physician, immunologist and professor of pathology at Stanford University.

Butcher has been studied as a student of Irving L. Weissman migration behavior of white blood cells and cell adhesion to blood vessel cells. Today he runs as an independent professor immunological laboratory at the Veterans Hospital in Palo Alto, California. Main area of ​​research is the elucidation of physiological and pathophysiological processes of cell migration mainly of lymphocytes.
