Eugene Chien

Eugene Chien (Chinese简又新/简又新, Pinyin jiǎn Youxin, W.-G. Chien You- hsin; born February 4, 1946 in Taoyuan County, Republic of China) is a Chinese politician.

Life

Chien graduated from the National Taiwan University and New York University Engineering. After his studies, he taught as a professor at Tamkang University. Chien was of 1 February 2002 to 16 April 2004 as the successor of Tien Hung- mao Foreign Minister of Taiwan. He was succeeded in office as Foreign Minister Mark Chen.
