Euler (crater)

26.03

Euler is an impact crater on the moon, which is located in the southern half of the Mare Imbrium. The most notable object in its vicinity is located west-southwest of Mons Vinogradov. Southwest of lunar crater Euler rises a number of low ridges, where the small crater Natasha and the even smaller Jehan are. About 200 kilometers to the east-northeast is the crater Lambert, who has a similar size as Euler.

The edge Euler is surrounded by a low wall. On the inner surface, it is easy terraced. In the center of the crater floor, there is a slight increase. The crater has a smaller beam system, which extends over 200 km.
