Euphemia of Kiev

Euphemia of Kiev († April 4, 1139 ) was Queen of Hungary.

Euphemia of Kiev, was born as the daughter of Grand Prince Vladimir II Wsewoloditsch Monomachos of Kiev. In 1104 she married the Hungarian king Koloman I from the House of Árpád, after his first wife Felizia of Sicily had died two years earlier, after five years of marriage. The couple had been married twelve years: had one son, Boris Konrad ( * ca 1131 ). Boris Konrad was a pretender of Byzantium and was with Anna Dukaina, daughter of Constantine Dukas Sebastos married. Their common son Koloman was governor of Cilicia and founded the dynasty of the Kalomannoi in Byzantium. King Koloman died in 1116, his wife survived him by 23 years.
