Euro Dance Festival

The Euro Dance Festival is the largest dance festival in Europe and takes place annually in the spring in Germany. It is held annually since 2007. With the combination of dance workshops, shows and exhibition this event provides a platform for dancers, coaches, choreographers and dancers hobby. From standard, Latin, Salsa, Disco Fox, Tango, Argentino, Swing, Hip Hop and Break Dance all styles of dance are represented. Show programs, gala dinners and dance parties where dance professionals present their skills, round out the four days of the event.

Is hosted Dance Festival of the Agency Gutmann Events GmbH & Co. KG, the dance school Gutmann and the Europa-Park in Rust near Freiburg, which is also the venue. During the Festival, around 14 rooms for workshops will be used.

The festival consists of dance workshops in theory and practice, exhibition and dance shows.

Around 450 one-hour workshops are taught by professional dancers per festival, world champions, national and international coaches and choreographers. The course program covers all styles of dance, current trends, figures and techniques as well as seminars on dance related topics. Since 2008, all workshops are classified within level of one to four.

Current trends in fashion, lighting and sound equipment and many other topics relating to dance will be presented on the dance show in a separate area.

At the end of the first four days of the festival evening entertainment takes place. At the parties and balls, the world stars present in dance shows off their skills: Standard and Latin rock and roll over to Break Dancing.
