Euromast

The euro is a mast designed by Dutch architect Maaskant and Huig 1958-1960 erected observation tower in Rotterdam. It was built for the Floriade 1960. Originally the euro mast was only 101 feet high. In the 30 centimeter thick walls around 5,800 tonnes of concrete were used.

1970 EUR mast was (so-called " Space Tower " ) extended by placing a mast to its present total height of 185 meters. At this mast is a rotating gondola screwed up, which is glazed all around ( " Euro Coop "). In clear weather, the visibility is up to 30 kilometers.
