Eva Orner

Eva Orner (born 1969 ) is an Australian film producer. In 2008 she won an Oscar for the documentary Taxi to hell.

Life

Orner grew up in Melbourne and studied at Monash University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1993. In Australia, she drew attention to himself as a producer of several documentary films and the television series Blue Heelers. She won for her film Untold Desires prizes at the Logie Awards, the Australian Film Institute Awards and the Australian Human Rights Awards, the film Strange Fits of Passion in 1999 reached a nomination at the International Film Festival of Cannes. 2004 she moved to New York.
