Even Heaven Cries ( German: " Even the sky is crying " ) is a written by Robbie Nevil, Lauren Evans, Philip Denker, Jonas Jeberg and Jens Lumholt pop ballad for the debut album of the band Monrose Temptation. It was produced by Jeberg and published on 2 March as the second single. The group also took part with this song at the German preliminary decision for the Euro Vision Song Contest 2007 and finished there second behind Roger Cicero ( women regier'n the world).
Background information
Even Heaven Cries was premiered live in the penultimate episode of the fifth season of Popstars Casting format of band member Mandy Capristo and the finalists Katarzyna Zinkiewicz and Romina Reinhardt on November 16, 2006. In the last episode of the show, the song was sung two more times, but without having been announced at the time as Monroses second single.
The song was after release of the album as one of the twenty most downloaded pieces of German music download portal Musicload and the band's website an online survey called into life, which song should be released as a second single. In January 2007 Even Heaven Cries claimed 47 percent of the vote, whereupon it was officially announced as the second single Monroses. The band sang the song again to get a better result than that of the mixed together under pressure album version. On 16 February 2007, the group carried out the final version in the ProSieben Fight Night for the first time.
The CD single was released on 2 March 2007 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. On it were two partially -known songs to find: Diamonds & Pearls, which was already listed in the penultimate episode of Popstars season of Arjeta Zuta, and Butt Butt, which provided a " bonus track" on the album at the download portal Music Load exclusively for download been.
Music Video
The music video for Even Heaven Cries was filmed in February 2007 in Berlin -Spandau, directed by Katja Kuhl and Moritz cancer and had its world premiere on February 22 on the official website of the band. On February 23 it was aired for the first time on television on the German music television channel VIVA. Despite these Air Date the video was not recorded in the music video rotation of the transmitter, since ProSieben planned, the official video premiere time for the start of the second season of Germany's Next Top Model, on 1 March 2007 to celebrate.
The video shows Monrose in a flower- stocked garden, Bahar Kızıl sitting on a swing, while Senna Guemmour stands in front of a cherry tree and Mandy Capristo sitting on a bench. Scenes of two bullied women and a father whose son dirty his apartment with yellow color are in cut. They seem to despair, but then, the garden where Monrose are, as a glass ball out which procures the three tortured new courage. The music video plays with two strongly contrasting worlds: On the one hand the crystal ball that shows a colorful, feenartiges dreamland, however, determine, on the other hand, the colorless, dreary, depressing world in which injustice and sorrow everyday.
