Everett Brown

Everett G. Brown ( born January 1, 1902 Smith County, Texas, † October 14, 1953 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actor.

Born in Texas, African Americans 1927-1953 played in about 40 Hollywood productions. Most often, the brawny actor embodied in smaller supporting roles Native servants or slaves. At Brown's more famous films include Pursuing James A., King Kong and the white woman and Gone with the Wind, in which he played the loyal foreman Big Sam. He died at the age of only 51 years and was buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Los Angeles.
