Evertz Microsystems Ltd.. is a Canadian company which developed several film production and broadcast systems for television and film industries and produces domestically. The company is headquartered in Burlinton, Ontario, Canada and employs approximately 1,200 employees. Since 2006 the company has drawn on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The company markets its systems worldwide. It has several locations including North America, Europe, UAE and Japan.

History

Dieter Evertz and Rose founded DynaQuip Electron Devices Limited in 1966, which developed mainly systems for the film industry. The company in 1983 in Evertz Microsystems Limited was renamed. 2006 saw the IPO. The company started by a $ 67 million of capital. In 2005 the company took over the router manufacturer Quartz Electronics and in 2011 the software developer Pharos Communications.
