Evgeniy Timofeev

Evgeny Timofeev (born 16 October 1994 Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan ) is a Kyrgyz skier.

Timofeev took part in the 2011 and 2013 Alpine World Ski Championships and launched each in slalom and giant slalom. In the slalom, he left each, in the giant slalom, he achieved a 80th and a 112th place.

At the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi in 2014 he was the only starter in his country. In the slalom, he finished 41st in the giant slalom and 61st place. Originally not Timofeyev but Dmitri Trelewski was nominated for the games. With a training accident, Trelewski though badly injured, so he could not start in the competition. Timofeyev was then re-nominated.
