Ewald Brenner

Ewald Brenner ( born June 26, 1975 in Freistadt) is an Austrian football player. He currently acts as player-coach at his hometown club SV Viktoria Marchtrenk.

Life and career

Brenner began his active football career at Viktoria Marchtrenk and later at SC Marchtrenk. In 1996, he came as a young player at that Bundesliga FC Linz. After the merger of the two major clubs in Linz LASK Linz and Linz FC, ​​he moved to Grazer AK. After only one year in the Styrian capital, he went back to Linz and played for twelve games at LASK Linz. He returned again to Graz back and played another year there. Brenner returned in 1999 for the second time already back to Linz. After only two years he went to a club Ausserhalbs Upper Austria or Styria, namely to Salzburg to SV Austria Salzburg, where he was to return to the last time to Linz one year. From 2002 to 2004 he was again active in the SV Austria Salzburg before moving to SV Ried in 2004 and there had a contract until the end of the season 2010/ 2011. In his last season in Ried burner was Austrian Cup winner.
