Extr @ was a British television course series, which was produced by Channel 4 and ran there from 2002 to 2004. They came in four languages: French, German, Spanish and ESL (English ). The English language course was co-produced by the Italian broadcaster RAI CPTO (Centro di Produzione Rai di Torino ) for Rai Educational.
Plot
The English language course comprised 30 episodes, the other three language versions each had 13 episodes. These 13 episodes are almost equal treatment in all four language versions.
Hector / Sam, who has only a very basic vocabulary of the language, comes to visit, and lives with his penpal, Bridget / Sacha / Sascha / Lola. Hector / Sam's efforts to learn the languages that provide the crucial dynamics of the course. The television series is particularly suitable for teenagers and young adults, who can set with the context of the situations and the consequent importance of acting with respect.
Since the first showing on German television in 2006, the consequences of endless rotation be repeated by the SWR television. Sometimes this happens in other programs as well as third in the Swiss and Austrian television. Meanwhile, the four language versions of the series have reached almost all European countries.
