The Company Extra Aircraft is a Huenxe, North Rhine -Westphalia, indigenous to manufacturers of sports and touring aircraft.

History

The company goes back to Walter Extra, a successful German aerobatic pilot and aircraft designer, the multiple German champion in aerobatics was. Aerobatic aircraft

  • Extra 230 - the first design by Walter Extra. Yet arrived quite conventional materials for use with this machine; the wings were made of a wooden structure, the fuselage of steel tube, the whole was then covered with plastic. The engine produced 200 hp.
  • Extra 260 - one launched in only six copies precursor version of the Extra 300 with a 260 -horsepower engine.
