Extreme 40

Extreme 40 is a class of boat sailing catamarans, which was developed by Tornado Sport and designed by Yves Loday.

The hulls are 40 feet (about 12.2 meters) long and is made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic. The width is 23 feet (7.6 m). The mainsail has an area of ​​75 square meters and the jib 25 square meters. The gennaker, which is used for downwind and half wind course, has an area of ​​110 square meters.
