Extremoduro

Extremoduro is a Spanish hard rock band from Plasencia.

Band History

The band's name is an allusion to the Extremadura region, from which comes the band. It was founded in the late 1980s and after demo recordings, TV appearances and participating in a music competition they got a record deal. Their first official album rock transgresivo appeared in 1989. Middle of the 1990s was sold its label to Warner Music and in 1996 with the album Agila their final breakthrough. It came in the album charts and was awarded double platinum also frequently Up In 1996, the occupation, the only singer and guitarist Robe Iniesta was and is the major player in the band. With Iñaki Antón and José Ignacio Cantera and, from 2001 with Miguel Coliro there was the formation that coined by the 2000s Extremoduro. With the album La ley innata they made it for the first time at number one on the Spanish Album Charts. The following two studio albums reached the top chart.
