Eyal Ofer

Eyal Ofer (* 1950) is an Israeli entrepreneur.

Life

His father was the entrepreneur Sammy Ofer and his uncle was the businessman Yuli Ofer. His brother is the entrepreneur Idan Ofer.

Eyal Ofer is chairman of the real estate investment firm Ofer Global Holdings. He graduated from the British Atlantic College in architecture and engineering. As of May 1991, he was Chairman and CEO of the real estate management company Deerbrook. Since 1995 he has been a director of the world's second largest cruise company Royal Caribbean Cruises, where the Ofer Group on the Cruise Associates, a joint venture with the Pritzker family (Hyatt hotel), has a financial interest. He is also Chairman and CEO of real estate firm Carlyle MG, since 1996, also co-chairman of the real estate investment fund Global Miller. He is also a member of the International Advisory Board of the German real estate and public finance bank Euro Hypo (Commerzbank Group).

According to the American Forbes Magazine Eyal Ofer is one of the richest Israelis and has been listed in The World's Billionaires. Ofer is married and has four children.
