Fabien Laurenti

Fabien Laurenti ( born June 1, 1983 in Marseille ) is a French football player.

Fabien Laurenti began his career as a professional footballer in 2001 in his hometown at Olympique Marseille. However, in this French top club, the defender could not prevail, and came in the next three years only 16 appearances in the Premier League. Then he moved to AC Ajaccio, where he came up with over 100 appearances in three seasons before he got a contract with the French first division side RC Lens in the summer of 2007.

In Lens, he fought his way to a permanent place in defense, but could relegation to Ligue 2 in the 2007/ 08 season to prevent not. In 2009, he managed the club straight back rise. But in the new Premiership season 2009/10 he could fight no more trunk space, so he was loaned out during the winter break for half a year to the second division club Stade Brest. In the summer of 2010 he joined the newly promoted Premiership football club AC Arles -Avignon. His expiring in summer 2012 contract was not renewed.
