Fabio Pusteria

Fabio Pusterla ( May 3, 1957 in Mendrisio ) is an Italian- Swiss writer, translator and literary critic who writes in Italian.

Life

Fabio Pusterla attended high school in Lugano and studied at the University of Pavia literature. He now teaches at a school in Lugano.

He published several volumes of poetry since 1985, which have won numerous awards, including the Gottfried Keller Prize (2007). Even Fabio Pusterla has distinguished himself as a translator, especially the poetry of Philippe Jaccottet.

2009 dedicated to the renowned Turin publisher Einaudi him an anthology of poems from 23 years.
