Falkenstein Castle in 1750

The Falkenstein Castle is a ruined hill fort at 510 m above sea level. NN on the western slope of the Eselsburger Tales of Dettingen am Albuch, in the municipality of barley tablets, in the district of Heidenheim in Baden- Württemberg.

The castle was built by the Lords of Falkenstein in the 12th century and came into the possession of the Lords of Faimingen and the counts of Helfenstein. The castle was built around 1430 to 1450, destroyed in 1634, 1740 and 1818 partly canceled permanently discontinued.
