Fallen Art

Sztuka spadania, English distribution title Fallen Art, is a Polish computer-animated short film by Tomasz Bagiński from the year 2004.

Action

A fenced with barbed wire military area. On a high tower are soldiers who are according to the instructions from below only awarded with a medal and then knocked off the tower. Your attitude at impact is then photographed and placed the photo a high military in a nearby barracks. He puts the photo into a machine and then plays music. The picture is animated through the machine to make it look as if the soldier dancing to the music. Even the obese military begins to dance until the machine stops suddenly. The man is again a command and the next soldier is pushed from the tower.

Production

Sztuka spadania Tomasz Baginski was the second short film in Platige Image. Like the previously published Katedra film was computer animated also Sztuka spadania. The plot is musically accompanied by the title Asphalt Tango the group Fanfare Ciocărlia.

Awards

Sztuka spadania won the 2006 BAFTA for Best Animated Short. In 2005, the film received the Grand Prize for digital short films on the Golden Horse Film Festival.
