Fan Zhiyi

Fan Zhiyi ( born November 6, 1969 in Shanghai) is a former Chinese football player.

Association

Zhiyi played from 1995-1998 at Shanghai Shenhua. In 1998, for a transfer fee of around 650,000 euros to Europe and played for three years at the English club Crystal Palace in the First Division. In 2001 he moved to the Scottish first division club Dundee United, but he played only one year before he went to Cardiff City, for whom he played until 2003. From 2003 on he played until his career end in 2006, again in China.

National

Fan Zhiyi has played 109 internationals for China and has also participated in the 2002 World Cup.
