Farafina
Farafina is a music group from the West African nation of Burkina Faso. It was founded in 1978 by Mahama Konaté in Bobo-Dioulasso. Their music is based on the musical traditions of the country, especially the balafon plays a major role. Farafina worked with, among others, the Rolling Stones. After the retreat Konate, the band broke up initially, but was later revived.
