Fărâmiță Lambru

Lambru Fărâmiţă, better known as Fărâmiţă Lambru ( born September 15, 1927 in Bucharest, † 12 December 1974 ) was a Roma singer and accordion player from Romania. He is one of the most famous singers of Romania.

Life

Fărâmiţă Lambru was born on 15 September 1927 as Lambrua Fărâmiţă. The Fărâmiţă family was a well-known family of musicians. Lambrus father was the violinist Tudor Fărâmiţă.

In the period from 1952 to 1956 he played in the formation of Teatrul de Estrada in Bucharest, later Teatrul de revista " Constantin Tănase ".

He accompanied many songs known soloists. He worked example with Maria Tănase together until they died in 1963.
