Fariborz Sahba

Fariborz Sahba (Persian فریبرز صهبا, born 1948 in Iran ) is an Iranian- Canadian architect and followers of the Baha'i faith. He designed the Terraces of the Shrine of the Bab and the visitor center in the Baha'i World Centre in Haifa, the House of Worship in New Delhi, which is known as the Lotus Temple, and the Iranian Embassy in Beijing, People's Republic of China.

After graduating in architecture at the University of Tehran in 1972, he was involved in a number of projects, including the Cultural Centre and the Academy of Fine Arts in Sanandaj in the western Iranian province Kordestān.

When aggravated the persecution of the Baha'is after the Islamic Revolution of 1979, he had to leave his homeland and moved to Vancouver to Canada. He is friends with his colleague Hossein Amanat, who also lives in Vancouver.
