Fårup Summerland is established in 1975 by Anders Kragelund amusement park near Fårup in Nordjylland. It is one of the largest amusement parks in Denmark with four roller coasters: Lynet, hawks, Flagermusen and Mine Expressen. Approximately 400 seasonal employees and 20 to 49 permanent employees work for the company, which in 2010 had a turnover of nearly 105 million DKR. In the same year the park saw a record attendance with over 607,000 guests.

1989 was inaugurated on the premises of the Aqua Park, which is Denmark's largest water park today.

Awards

2010 was Fårup Summerland of the U.S. trade magazine Amusement Today the world's " third best amusement park for children " ( Best Children 's Park 2010) named - behind the U.S. amusement parks Idlewild and Soak Zone and Legoland California.

For its roller coasters Hawks (2004) and Lynet (2008 ) of the park with the new Prices: FKF Award from the Friends was awarded fair and amusement parks eV.
