Fastball (Band)
Fastball is a rock band founded in 1994 in Austin, Texas.
Band History
In 1996 the band released their debut album called Make Your Mama Proud. In 1998 came the breakthrough with All the Pain Money Can Buy. On this record, there was the single from the album The Way, which for seven weeks topped the modern rock charts of Billboard and earned the band two Grammy nominations. The song was also internationally in the charts in Germany, it was ranked 66 in the UK charts Rank 21 In 2001, the Italian DJ Gigi D' Agostino interpreted the song on his new album L' Amour Toujours. 1998 Fastball were nominated at the MTV Video Music Awards for Best New Artist.
In 2000 published Fastball The Harsh Light of Day. 2002, there was a "best of " disc, entitled Painting the Corners. A year later, with Live from Jupiter Records a live CD, on the next to old hits already were pieces of the 2004 album Keep Your Wig On. After the release of Keep Your Wig On it was quiet around the band. 2006, all band members devoted their solo projects.
