Fata Salkunič

Fata Salkunič ( born March 9, 1991, Ljubljana) is a Slovenian football player.

Career

Association

Salkunič began her career in Slovenia with Krka ŽNK Nove Mesto. For the season 2006/2007 she joined ŽNK Maribor and scored in 17 games. 3 goals. After their first pro season, she left Maribor and was hired by ŽNK Krka at. In Krka Group achieved in two seasons, 30 goals in 32 games before they signed in the summer of 2009 at Hamburg SV. The midfielder was for Hamburger SV her debut on 9 May 2010 against Tennis Borussia Berlin. After just one season, she joined in August 2010 to Switzerland for FC Basel. In September 2011, she moved to FF USV Jena. On 26 January 2012, the contract was terminated with the FF USV Jena, she returned to Slovenia back to their home club ŽNK Krka Nove Mesto. In Slovenia, they broke their contract after two months again and moved in March 2012 to the Serbian first division Napredak Krusevac.

Salkunič is A- national team of Slovenia and previously played for the U -19 and U -17 in their country.
