Fayard Nicholas

Fayard Antonio Nicholas ( born October 20, 1914 in Mobile, Alabama, † 24 January 2006 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American dancer, singer and actor.

Together with his brother Harold Nicholas Fayard Nicholas was known as Nicholas Brothers. Between 1932 and 2005 he joined - partly interrupted by long pauses - in some films, including 1948 Gene Kelly film The Pirate. In 1955 he had in Erik Ode film music in their blood an appearance in a German film. Since 1965 he was a member of the Baha'i faith.

1989 Nicholas got along with Cholly Atkins, Henry LeTang Frankie Manning and the Tony Award for Best Choreographer for the musical Black and Blue. On the Hollywood Walk of Fame The Nicholas Brothers have their own star.
