FC Kazakhmys

The FK Kasachmys Satpajew (Russian ФК Казахмыс Сатпаев ) is a currently inactive Kazakh football club from Sätbajew.

History

The club was founded in 2006 and finished second in his first season in fifth place in the Kazakhstan second division. In the years 2007 and 2008 the team won the second division. Due to financial difficulties the team decided after the first championship to attend the Premjer League. For the 2009 season the financial support of the mining company Kazakhmys was secured and the club went on. After the disappointing 2009 season, the team got down from the Premjer League.

On 25 May 2011, the club withdrew because of financial difficulties from the game.

Stadium

The club plays its home matches at the 2,300 -seat Kasachmysstadion.
