FC Lviv

The FK Lviv ( Ukr ФК " Львів "; UEFA transcription FC Lviv ) is a Ukrainian football club based in the Galician city of Lviv ( German Lemberg).

FK Lviv (1992-2001)

From 1992 to 2001 ever existed a football club of the same name. This was amateur champion in Lviv and master of the Lviv Oblast region. In 1993 he was promoted to the third Ukrainian league, even later in the second. 2001, the team was taken over by FK Karpaty Lviv and acted since FK Karpaty Lviv, under the name II as its reserve team. By 2008 FK Lviv held the record as the only team outside of the first Ukrainian Premier League two times to have reached the Ukrainian Cup quarter-finals.

FK Lviv (2006 to present)

The club, founded in 2006 is not related to FK Lviv, who played from 1992 to 2001. This replaced the Perscha Liha the bankrupt FK scale Stry. In the first season they reached an 11th place in the table. For next season they moved into the newly built Knjascha Arena (now Lafort Arena ) into Dobromyl, which was named after the main sponsor of FK Lviv. In the 2007 /08 season as one rose in second in the first Ukrainian league Premjer - Liha on. After just one season FK Lviv rose even above again. The 2011/12 season the club finished in the Perscha Liha only second to last place, an increase from the third class Druha Liha. Today, the FK wears his games also in Ukraine Corporation Stadium.
