FC Strausberg

The FC Strausberg is a German football club from Strausberg in the district or Mark- land, east of Berlin. The club is a successor organization of the ASG Vorwärts Strausberg.

Forward Strausberg

Forward Strausberg was ( as of 1956 the Ministry of National Defense and command the air forces of the NVA) established in the early fifties with the completed in Strausberg formation of the main staff of the People's Police. The ASG for the first time succeeded in 1960, the rise in the district league Frankfurt caused descent from which Strausberg by the resolution of the II DDR - League after just one season again.

In 1974, the border in Berlin reported back to the district league, the class could be held before this time Dynamo Frankfurt. In the aftermath Strausberg drove 1977-1980 a total of three runner-up, the rise in the East German league but was missed. The district league held Strausberg until its dissolution in 1991. Strausberg forward was one of the few Army communities, which were not resolved immediately. Sporty was the ASG with only four season points no longer keep up, and was integrated in the connection under the name KSC Strausberg in the national league Brandenburg.

FC Strausberg

1995, dissolved the football department out of the KSC Strausberg and founded the FC Strausberg. The FCS in 2003 was again in the national league. Since 2005, the club plays in the Brandenburg League, which was held in the following years with secured midfield squares. In the 2012/13 season was the FC Strausberg master of Brandenburg League and was promoted to the Oberliga Nordost.
