FC Volyn Lutsk
The FK Volyn Lutsk ( Ukr Футбольний клуб " Волинь » Луцьк, Russian Футбольный клуб " Волынь » Луцк ) is a Ukrainian football club based in Lutsk. The club was founded in 1960 and plays its home games at the Awanhard Stadium in Lutsk from. Since 2010 Volyn Lutsk plays in the Ukrainian Premier League, the Premjer - Liha.
History
The football club Volyn Lutsk was founded in 1960. Initially, the club was known until 1967 as well as today Volyn Lutsk. Then you renamed itself in Torpedo was Lutsk, as the club until the year 1988. After 1988, the club name was again Volyn Lutsk, but with small deviations from the present name, which is considered again since 2002. Volyn Lutsk in 1992 was one of the founding members of the Ukrainian Premjer - Liha, which at that time had its first season, after which Ukraine had obtained by the collapse of the Soviet Union their independence. In the first season, the club occupied from Lutsk to fifth place in the standings in the relay B. In the following years the club had played no major role in professional football in Soviet times this very good placement could not confirm, and it was followed in 1996 the descent into the Perscha Liha, the second highest Ukrainian league. After six years in the second division Volyn Lutsk succeeded table with first place in the 2001/ 02 season of resurgence in the Premjer - Liha. The following year the club reached the semi-finals of the Ukrainian Cup. This success was repeated in the 2009/10 season the team.
