The Federal Administrative Court (FAC; French Tribunal Administratif fédéral, Italian Tribunale amministrativo federale, Romansh administrative tribunal federal, english Federal Administrative Court), based in St. Gallen hears appeals against rulings by federal agencies. Status, location and organization

The Federal Administrative Court began its work in temporary premises in Bern on 1 January 2007 and relocated in the summer of 2012 to St. Gallen. It is composed of five departments and the Secretariat. The court has a statutory form of governing bodies: the Executive Committee, the full court, the Presidents' Conference and the Administrative Commission. Justice units are the departments and chambers.

With approximately 75 judges and magistrates as well as 320 employees, it is the largest federal court (as of August 2013).

Jurisdiction
