The Federal Department of Finance FDF (French Département fédéral des finances DFF, Italian Dipartimento delle Finanze federale DFF, Romansh Departament federal since finanzas DFF ) is one of the seven departments of the Swiss Federal Government, it corresponds to the task pane finance ministries in other countries. Each one of the cabinet ministers standing in front of the department.

At the beginning of the state of the department was called " Department of Finance ". From 1873 to 1978 it was called the " Tax and Customs Department ." 1979 was then renamed " Federal Department of Finance ."
