The International Federation of Women's Lacrosse Associations ( IFWLA ) was founded in 1972, to all over the world to further develop women 's lacrosse and promote.

The founding members were Australia, England, Scotland, Wales and the United States. Meanwhile, Canada, Japan, the Czech Republic, Germany, New Zealand and South America also have joined. The IFWLA actively supported the Women's World Championships and the U-19 Lacrosse World Championships.
