Federico Martinez

Eduardo Federico Martinez Colombo ( born November 18, 1984 in Montevideo) is an Uruguayan football player. The attacker is currently in Latvia at FK Ventspils under contract, he previously played in Singapore at FC Singapore.

Career

Federico Martínez, his football career started in Uruguay in the Rampla Juniors in the Primera División. He then moved at the age of 21 to the league rivals Defensor Sporting Club who also played in the highest Uruguayan league. After a brief stint with the club from Montevideo, he went back to the Rampla Juniors. There he played until December 2006 before he left the club in the direction of Central Español FC.

2007 Federico Martínez moved to CA Rosario Central in the Argentine Primera División. After side trips to Chile and Brazil drew the tall striker in 2010 to Singapore for army club FC Singapore Armed Forces. When eight -time champions Martínez came to stakes in the Asian Champions League.

On 25 March 2011 Martínez signed a one-year contract with FK Ventspils. He made his debut for the team from Ventspils on Matchday 1 of the 2011 season against FK Jurmala - VV, the first goal marked Martínez on Matchday 4 against Olimps Riga. In the Latvian Cup he won with the final game against Ventspils Liepaja Metalurgs 3-1. In 2011, he also became Latvian Champion.
