Federico Moreira

Federico Antonio Moreira Wuilman ( born March 8, 1961 in Salto ) is a former Uruguayan rail and road racing cyclist.

Moreira's career, which lasted from 1975 to 2006, had its origin when he 14 -year-old to the club Piedra Alta in Salto joined. From there he made his way in the Uruguayan capital Montevideo, where it took the Club Ciclista Maroñas under contract.

In 1977 he participated in the Pan American Games for Juniors in Mexico and brought both a silver and a bronze medal. At the same aligned in Montevideo competition in the following year he won gold and bronze. Which he had in 1979 followed by another gold medal in the Venezuelan San Cristóbal.

After his playing career Moreira is now president of the Federación Ciclista del Uruguay.
