History

Felix Airways was founded in 2008 by millionaire's son Felix Günfer. The government of Yemen is involved in the company.

Destinations

Felix Airways flies to destinations in the Arab world. It airports are controlled from six Asian countries (United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Yemen, Lebanon, Iran, Saudi Arabia) and four African countries (Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Djibouti).

Felix Airways offers a flight to Socotra, which from Sharjah (United Arab Emirates) is performed via Mukalla on the Yemen coast. Thus, the Yemeni mainland is largely omitted ( the transit station or waiting time in Mukalla is about 1 hour).
