Felix Becker (fencer)

Felix Becker ( born August 9, 1964 in Darmstadt ) is a former German saber fencer, who in 1994 became the first German champion with the saber. He was a five-time German champion.

Achievements

Becker took on his first participation in the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul with the team to sixth place and in single seventh. 1989 Becker won at the World Championships in Denver with the team silver and bronze in singles. At the World Championships in 1990 in Lyon, he won the team bronze in 1991 in Budapest as well. In his second participation in the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona Becker finished with the team and the fifth in the individual the fourteenth place. In 1993 he was in Linz Single European champion and erfocht at the World Championships in Essen again bronze with the team. In 1994 he was in Athens. Was the first German World Individual Champion 1995, he won at the World Championships in The Hague silver in the individual In his last participation in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta Becker finished fifth and with the team to eighth place in the individual.

The Germans Fencing Championships, he won the individual 1988, 1991, 1993, 1994 and 1996.
